We’re excited to share some major news: Sierra Sourced has officially been awarded funding through California Jobs First as one of the region’s 40 Catalyst Projects!
This is more than a milestone—it’s a major step forward for local producers, makers, and entrepreneurs across the Sierra. With this support, we’re positioned to expand the impact of Sierra Sourced in big ways:
Strengthening local supply chains by connecting more makers with buyers, both locally and regionally.
Boosting demand for Sierra-made products by amplifying visibility, building brand recognition, and educating consumers.
Driving sustainable tourism and economic resilience by creating a clear identity for what’s made here—and why it matters.
This funding unlocks new opportunities not only for business growth, but for building a circular, place-based economy that keeps value rooted in our communities.
